Question
Can a third party debt collector send a account to the Credit Bureau if the account has had returned mail.If correct address can not be found are you prohibited from being reported to the consumer's file. Thank you.

Unfortunately, a furnisher of information need have only very basic information in order to report a tradeline.  Therefore, and to answer your question, yes, a debt collector can report a tradeline on to your report even if they do not have your current address.

Try removing all obsolete from your credit reports and then dispute the tradeline in question.
