Collections Law/Questionable Bank Phone Call

Question
Mr Ebert,

Thank you for attending to my question.  I have on occasion made phone calls from one of my customers land lines to converse with my financial institution of choice.  Unfortunately in the last couple of weeks my bank has decided to call that same number which I have never made available to them other than the obvious caller ID stamp.  When they call they ask for me at which point they relate to my customer the nature of the call stating that it is in regards to overdraft fees associated with my account with their institution.  I am frankly offended that they have disturbed one of my customers and revealed the nature of their call.  I am interested to know whether you believe there is sufficient grounds to pursue a suit against this bank.

Thank you again for your time, Craig

Answer
Craig,

Based on what you said here, I think that you have a good possibility of an attorney wanting to take a case with these kind of facts. To find a consumer attorney you can go to http://www.naca.net or http://www.henleycreditlaw.com

I wish you the best of luck.
