Question

Me!
Will you please answer me the same way you did before.
I cannot find the email from you now.

My question was:

Will I have a better opportunity to negotiate on a $4000 Chase credit card AFTER it goes into "charge-off" status? I also have mortgages in "charge off" status, so if I am correct, I definitely already have bad credit so a credit card going into "charge off" will not really matter. I own several properties and am trying to get loan mods, principal reductions, etc. I have tried so hard, and am still trying. This is the only card I have stopped paying. I hate this but they put the interest rate up to 29.99% because I was one minute past deadline with a perfect history. I can get some money together and pay it off if they will take a one time pay off. Up to now, they still want me to make low payments and rejected an earlier offer for a settlement. Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer all of us. God Bless you for doing this."

Answer
You can call me at any time. You can even get in on my Friday night conference call and ask questions. The number is (712)432-1601 and the pin number is 508548 # The call starts at 7:00 P.M. Central time. Just be forewarned that I get a few real fruitcakes on the call. People with junk legal theories and ideas. I don't mind talking to them but that don't mean I subscribe to their nonsense. So all you need to do is just jump in and start talking about what you want to talk about. No problem.

Your mortgages in trouble are a real problem. Take care of the most important things first. Credit cards are not the most important things. Mortgages are far more important. I can help you with either one. Mortgages on your primary residence are relatively easy to fight but mortgages on investment property are a whole different ballgame.

Just feel free to call me anytime. If I happen to be busy at the time then please call back a bit later.

Experience

I've been an active consumer advocate for more than 40 years and have helped hundreds of people win cases against debt collectors as well as helping them defeat demands for summary judgment lodged against them by banks, debt collectors and defeat mortgage foreclosures and keep their homes.

Education/Credentials
Paralegal courses for the most part.
I have been teaching people how to deal with judgments, mortgage foreclosures and other such problems both on and off the internet for many, many years. I am a Richard Cornforth information provider ever since 2000 and worked with many other organizations and causes since 1980. I was Oklahoma State Chairman for the nationwide drive to defeat the Constitutional Convention which was proposed by various factions within our federal government such as the Council of State Governments and the National Organization of State Governors who were working hard to organize a Constitutional Convention to be held in 1995 for the purpose of rewriting our American Constitution to be more acceptable to the United Nations. I worked with Senator Charles Duke of Colorado and Senator Don Rogers of California and many others across the nation to keep them from getting the number of delegate states required to lawfully hold a Con-Con and we were successful. I have worked with many other legislative issues in Oklahoma and have always been very successful.
