Question
I am receiving phone calls from some man named Jeff Morrison
with a middle eastern accent telling my co-workers and boss
that I am under a crime investigation. They call all the
time and has told my boss that they are the FBI, is this
allowed? I had a friend of mine to call as my attorney and
Jeff Morrison said that they were collecting for AACA, How
do I report this and to whom? My job was in on the line.
They went too far. Please advise what I can do. Thank you

Answer
Min,

They are not allowed to call and say such things to your work place.

Next time they call you can get as much information as possible from them about the company. Ask where to mail a check? Tell them you want to call them back, what number can you call them at? What is the full name of the company? Then you can report the information to your states attorney general, FTC, and to acainternational.org
