Question
Can unemployment wages be garnished in Georgia (Dekalb county) on a default judgment? Thanks in advance!

Please check out this website:  http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1953999  The answer there states:
Federal law prohibits creditors from garnishing unemployment wages, with the exception of two cases. The only time unemployment wages can be garnished is if the judgment is for child or spousal support.

Georgia follows the same guidelines.
