Experience
FREE BANKRUPTCY HELP. If you are being sued, if your home is being foreclosed, or if you are being harassed by bill collectors, filing for bankruptcy may be a quick and inexpensive solution.. The mere filing of a bankruptcy will operate as a federal court order (it is called an automatic stay) to stop all bill collection efforts, including lawsuits that are pending or ongoing. Bankruptcy is a legitimate way to meet your problems with debt head-on. The bankruptcy law is designed to give you a second chance to make a new start without the psychological and financial burden of pressing debts that you are unable to pay. Depending on what state you live in and what your assets are, it is very unlikely that you are going to have to lose anything if you file for bankruptcy, and this is something that you can do immediately without having to pay the $500 to $1,500 attorney fees that most attorneys charge. Also, you might be surprised that you can file for bankruptcy and that it will not have the devastating effect on your credit that most bill collectors describe. Life is too short to have all this anxiety over losing your car through repossession, getting evicted from your home, or losing your home through foreclosure. Bankruptcy law was designed to give you a second chance. I will not charge you just to talk on the phone. Call me at 432 853-5711, or send me an email at j_h14@hotmail.com with your telephone number, and I will call you back.

Question
I had a CC with Chase bank with a limit of $300. I stopped using it just shy of the $300 limit ($284) and 2 weeks later I was out of work. I am just barely making it by and haven't been able to make a payment for some time now. Now the balance is at $892 and it is in arbitration. I recieved a call today from a law firm handling this and was told I would be recieving the arbitration letter in the mail in a few  days.  She asked me if we could 'resolve' this matter, I told her what I have been telling Chase all along....yes, but I am only able to pay $50 a month.  I was told this was NOT going to do. We are barely making it now ( I live with my faince') I am still not working yet and have an infant child, and our rent was just raised.  Way back when I offered to pay Chase $50 a month but was told it wouldn't do because of the late fees and overdraft fees (which are what PUT me over my limit to begin with) So now it is in arbitration and I assume from what I have read on the internet (99% of the cases are won for the company and the little guy gets the shaft) that they will win a judgement against me.
What will they do? Will they try to put a levy on our joint account? We are barely making it now and I don't know how I am supposed to pay this off? No one was interested in what I could actually pay at the time and now my hands are tied either way.
I am seriously considering having my fiance' take my name off our joint account, so that if it comes down to them trying to put a levy on it, we aren't homeless. Is this my best bet? How else can I 'resolve' this matter?

Thank you for your time and help
