Question
HELLO MICHAEL, I HAVE WORKED SO HARD AT REPAIRING MY CREDIT BUT THERE ARE FOUR REAGED ACCOUNTS ON MY CREDIT REPORT. MY SCORE IS SOMEWHERE AROUND 608 OR SO. I HAVE REVIEWED MY REPORT AND SEE THAT ALL FOUR OF THE ORIGINAL DATES ARE WRONG. IT LOOKS AS THOUGH THE ACCOUNTS WERE SOLD TO A NEW AGENCY WHO PICKED UP THE ACCOUNT AND THEN CHANGED THE DATES. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO GET THIS TO STOP?

Answer
Write a letter to all 3 credit bureaus and dispute each debt individually. Demand they verify the dates of these debts and remove outdated info. Request a copy of your updated report be sent to you to verify they verified the info. All inaccurate information must be removed.

Keep in mind that although the information may only be reported for 7 years they may be able to continue to collect depending on your state statute of limitations.
