Question I have been served a summons and have to file a written answer quick. It started about 5 years ago with an MBNA credit account. It was sent to binding arbitration, they obtained a jugement for almost 20K, sent me a copy and nothing. Now it has been to e-cast settlements, and now to Cavalry Invenstments. It started as 16K now they say it is 20K. Their summons has several assignments from each company to the next, but no account numbers, nothing to indicate my account is even included in these assignments. What can I do to prrevent them from winning a jugement against me? I have an attorney, as luck would have it she is on vacation.
