My fiance is being sued by state employees credit union for a loan of 3000 plus court cost for like missing 3 payments due to switching of jobs, im really worried because we just bought a house from then over a year ago, what are they going to do, we don't have any money if we did they would of gotten it, plus they never contacted me at all about it, and they did last time back in feb! Please help me im so worried!

First, don't panic. You have rights. No one is going to do anything without giving you time to deal with it. I need to know which state you are in to be specific but I may be able to shed some light on things.

Before you go any further you need to put your finances to paper. This means listing all of your expenses and debt and comparing that to your income. Whatever money is left is what you have to work with for a payment plan. If you have any resources available you may also be able to negotiate a lump sum settlement.
