I was recently served with papers to appear in court for an amount of 430.00 pluss 100.00 court costs. what is going to happen? i don't own my own home, car or really anything.. are they going to take me to jail or something.. Help. thanks

Answer
Morgan,

Stop...Stop Stop...  Calm down your not going to jail.  Who is the 430.00 owed to?  What may happen is that the courts will enter a judgement against you for 530.00.  You can avoid this by paying them off or requesting an offer to compromise.
