College Football/College football history and rosters
Expert: Thom Brooks - 1/20/2008
QuestionHi, I have been looking and can't find a website that has like old rosters for College Football teams like 1940 Army or 1956 Ohio State, just as examples.
Or a site with even just like the Team statisics by player for a old years.
Thanks so much if anyone can help.
Andrew
AnswerAndrew, hello and Happy New Year!
Below are websites for you to google. You may have to tinker with some in order to get the exact site address, but their names can be typed in, googled, and they will pop up. As you get the names of any player from a roster, type in his name. Locate him, or the alumni of that school from that year, or the Archives of that college, and you can trace the rosters. Someone out there has old yearbooks. Maybe it's the local newspapers/magazines/television stations, etc.
