College Football/What are the chances?

Question
Hey, I have played football in middle school and high school till my junior year as a WR where I was second slot WR. But I decided to give that up to focus on my studies. However, I regret giving up football I know if I kept playing I would have got a scholarship to D3 at least. Lately I been working out and staying in shape and trying to play college football. I wanted to know what are my chances on getting to play for a college team and what could I do to get into a university football team.

Answer
Numan, hello and Happy New Year!

You need to go back to your coaches and/or fellow players.  Get letters from them as good references.  Whatever school in D-2 or D-2 that had an interest probably would still love to talk with you.  Contact them today.  Send tapes, films, Youtube, anything that indicates the caliber of player you are.  Your chances will only be as good as your hard work will be effective.

Have a great day and make contact with the schools of choice.  They'll give you the guidance you need to get your train rolling again.

Take care,

Thom Brooks
