Question
how do you get colleges to look at when u weren't really recognized in high school and didn't get much credit for what you did. Is there a junior college football team that can pick me up

Answer
Aaron, Happy New Year!

You have to make consistent contact with the colleges of your choice, be it JUCO, Div-III, or others.  The more people you have to support your quest will help, so you need to contact Coaches, former and current players, YMCA, your city or county's Recreational Department, your local High School Football Association, the local press, the state Athletic Department (like High School association for your state), and then you may need to make a physical appointment with the school's Athletic Department.  They will advise when they're having tryout dates.

You need to see all of these sources until you locate the scouts and coaches that are in your town recruiting this week. They're out there.  Go find them.  They will assess your skills to see if their college would have an interest.

Your chances are not as good as the guy that has 4 years of stats and film to show, but if you are in football shape, you will get noticed at the meetings!

Have a great year and go for the Dream!
