College Football/One last walk on question...

Question
I am truly sorry for beating a dead  horse here, but I feel my future may depend upon the answer of this question. Anyway, I am going into my sophmore year of college at a satellite campus of PSU. In high school, I wrestled for 3 years until a back injury ended my career, then I ran track and threw the javelin for two years following the injury. Since then I have attended rehab and healed my back completely.

Everyday I lift weights and try to keep a healthy diet, and somedays run on the treadmdil. I am currently 5'11" 180 pounds @ 6% body fat. I really want to attempt to play college ball at University Park next year when I am a Junior simply because I have a tremendous passion for the game.

I hope to play Cornerback but I will play whatever position that is asked of me. IF the future looks bright for me getting a chance to play ball, I have the dedication, determination and motivation to go all the way. (just to prove I am not lying, I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2005)

My question to you is, will I be allowed to play seeing that I am a Junior and if so, is it possible to make the team with my credentials?

Answer
Jason
Please make 2 appointments. The first to talk with the football office to see if they will let you walk on; the second to the school's compliance officer in the athletic department.  They will give you the exact answer for your situation.  Generally, it is possible but there are some limits and those can be discussed by the school's athletic department.

Jason,

By the way you are not beating a dead horse.  That is why we experts are here, to help you with answers to your questions.  Unfortunately now you have to get the final answer from the school.  But if you contact them today or next week and start the ball rolling I would think you may have a chance to walk on
Best of luck again
