Question
"if i attended a division 2 college for a year, then transferred to a community college for 2 years, then i transferred to a division 1 school, how many years of eligibility would i have if i was a walk-on tryout for football, if i hadn't participated in any collegiate football prior to the division 1 school?"

Answer
Carlos, I have attached the NCAA rules for you to review.  It sounds that you would have used up all of your eligibility unless you were Redshirted or sat out due to medical reason.  If you played ball for 2 years and not at JUCO, you should have 2 years of eligibility (but would have had to sit out for one year if your Division 2 years if you attempted to play after that 2 years).

Take care,

Thom Brooks
