College Football/Chance to Play

Question
Hi,
As my topic already states, i was wondering what my chance would be to play college football? I played in Middle school where i was recruited for high school, unfortunately i played for a small private school becuase my dad did not want to send me to a public school.  After Freshman year we moved to germany where i played on a semi-pro team and made all-state.  This is where i had some injures such as broken ribs so i missed one season tried coming back the next season and compressed my neck.  After this i didnt play for two years untill i decided to try it again, now at a lower level where i then ripped my hamstring muscle.  So i havent played in a couple of years and am now 24 years old.  I would love to play again. I am 6'2 with 230 pounds and played LB for most of my football career.  I ran a 50 yards in 4.4 seconds and a 100 in 10.9 seconds. so my question is do i still have a chance to play anywhere ever again? thank you. your answere would mean a lot to me.

Answer
Tobias, hello!

You sound mentally tough so yes, you can play again.  Your age could be a detriment if you're compared to a younger speed warrior, but your Leadership at 24 would be a positive for a team.  Playing with injuries is a symbol of football toughness, but were your injuries because of dumb play?  Were you too over agressive or just caught in a play where you could not avoid the injury?  Coaches want to know.  They don't always want a suicide mission.  They want you to play tough but be able to keep making it for the next play.  If you can be both physically and mentally agressive, then their is a college that would love your contribution.  I've attached some sites for you to visit.

Play hard and play smart and let me know which team you will suit up for.
