Expert: Thom Brooks - 12/30/2008

Question
Hello.
I just got done with my junior season in high school. I play at a Class AA school in Pennsylvania. I am a defensive end and I recorded 82 tackles, 13 for losses, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception, and three blocked field goals in 11 games. I was recognized first-team All-League, All-Area, second-team Class AA All-State selection. I started my sophomore year on varsity at OLB and recorded 26 tackles, four for losses, and one sack in six games. I missed four due to an ankle injury. I am 6' 4" and 240 pounds. I run a 4.7 40 and bench press 250 and squat 405. I run the Pro Agility Drill in 4.29 seconds. I run the 3-Cone in 7.2 seconds. My question is do you think I will be hearing from any D1 or D1-AA scouts this offseason?

Dang!  It's a miracle that Joe Paterno hasn't pitched a tent in your front yard.........

Go play for the Georgia Bulldogs or the Florida State Seminoles!

Your record looks great.  If you keep your grades up and your attitude strong, you will be a tremendous asset to some college team.
(Don't play for Penn State.  They're sissies.  Play for Georgia!!).
