College Football/walk on
Expert: Thom Brooks - 12/14/2008
QuestionHello, I am currently a freshman at Temple University. I very much want to attempt to walk on to the football team as a quarterback. I am 6'1" 185. After talking to coaches and getting ready for the try-outs back in September, I missed the try-outs due to personel reasons. In addition, as much as I regret missing the first set of try-outs, I wanted to have a clear head with the right state of mind when entering, which is were I am at now. I am just curious, how in the world do I try-out now? I already got a physical and registered for the clearinghouse, I think the next try-outs are in february, but I am just confused on what exactly I have to do. Thank you for your help, Chris.
AnswerChris, hello!
You have to contact the AThletic Department. Their secretary will give you the details of the time, date, etc.
I have attached some websites for you to review.
Hope you have an incredible time playing football!
Merry Christmas!
