Question
I have two questions. Do you have to be enrolled in a college to tryout/walk-on to their football program? How many texas junior colleges have open tryouts and when?

Answer
Kyle, hello!

You will have to contact the JUCO's in Texas for their dates.  You can go to places like the Texas High School Football Association and their folks will direct you to the correct sites.

You have to be able to be enrolled before you can make the team.  Depending on what time of year the Coaches and Scouts interview, you would then have to be enrolled before you can suit up.  The NCAA has minimum grades in order to play at the college level.  If your grades qualify, then the Coaches will advise you of the rules.

Have a great day!!  Do not hesitate.  You are at the end of recruiting season.  If you want to play this year, time is of the  essence.  If you have the talent and grades, you need to play.  The memory will last forever!
