College Football/Transfer Questions??

Question
Hi..I graduated HS in 2005...and I spent the last year at at a community college but I didnt play football or enroll as a full time student....I was a late bloomer to football..I played my senior year of HS and I ran sprints on the track team. and I spent the last two years training to play....Im a running back by the way.

My question is....since I was a part time student and I never played any sports my two years at HFCC...how is my eligibility looking??? Do I still only have two years left despite not playing a sport because the school didnt have a team..and I wasnt a full time student.

Financial aid issues preventing me from transfering to a D2 school I wanted to go this winter....ao I was going to transfer somewhere else instead.....I wanted to know how many yeras of college will I have left to play college sports...I only have 25 college credits as well.

The money issue is not letting me enroll back in school until its paid...so I have time to pay that and train....I was thinking about training out the rest of the year and going back to my community college then transfer for the winter 09..

Thanks for you time and help...sorry for being long winded.

Answer
Stevan, hello!

You should have all of your eligibility since you haven't played in college, but the NCAA would require that you maintain minimum standard grades and of course if you graduate sooner, you will lose your eligibility.  Contact your college counselor and they will give you the exact answer to your question.

Go play and have a great time!!
