Question
I will enroll in a university this fall and I graduate in four years but not sure if I want to play for there football team because its D3 but hopefully i transfer to a D1 college in february and make the football team and start the next fall, can I only play 3 years since I wasted 1 year or is there a way to stay an extra year in college to play four years?

Answer
Omar, hello again!

If you use one year of eligibility in D3 then you will only have 3 years left.  You can still have an incredible time, plus make it to the NFL (if that is a goal) by playing at the D-3 or D-1=AA level, too!  Jerry Rice did pretty good as the NFL's all time receiver, but he came from little Mississippi Valley State.
