QuestionThom, i graduated high school in 06 from a small school in Nebraska. I haven't played since my junior year as a resulting shoulder injury. Since i graduated i have dropped a significant amount of weight (over 200 down to 170 and I'm currently putting on muscle and sit bout 187)I currently go to a community college that does NOT offer a football program. i am trying to find out how to walk on at any college to play football although i don't have any films to show coaches. what do you suggest?
AnswerJoe, hello! My youngest son is 20, but missed 1 1/2 years of his high school baseball time, due to shoulder surgery (auto accident). I understand your suffering and rehabilitation you have been going through.
Your educational pursuits is priority, but the Coaches will need to know the prognosis on your injury. If you are healed, they will still need to know when the leather hits the pads if you are able to stand up to college level contact.

The above websites can give you a start to make contact with the college of choice. You can also go to your Nebraska High School Association, and the Nebraska High School Football Associations nearest to you. They will get you the information for playing at any level of football. Remember, the sports directors of local TV and radio stations have access to your dreams, so call them.
Let me know when you get to that Dream Team so I can follow your progress! No, go do it today. Don't procrastinate.
