Question
Thom,
Can you tell me what are some of the top Post Graduate Football Schools for a good no problem kid out of high school with a 2.5 average in core classes from a private school in Georgia and SAT scores of 1060 that could would redshirt in the Southern Conference now at Slot back but wants to get stronger, faster, and a little more confidence so that maybe he can play at a Division 1 school even if he redshirts his first year there as well.  He is a 3 sport athlete (football, basketball, and track) who now just wants to focus on football.  He is 6'0" and weighs 160lbs.  Thank you. Jim

Answer

Jim, I do not have any contacts with SDSU but my oldest son lives a mile from that campus.

Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma have a lot of JUCO football programs that could give him a year of playing until he made a decision to settle into one school, but I would still recommend that he stick to the one program even if he redshirts.

Take care,
