Question
hi, my name is avel im going to be a junior next year. This is my first year playing football. im a defensive lineman i ran a mile in 6:56 but my 40 time was really slow probably because it was my first time in cleats and my time was a 5.9. my grades are not that bad but not that good ether. i have a couple of D's. i have never been suspended from school from school. im thinking of  runing more and getting  faster and if i can get a 40 in 4.6 or less then i should be a wide receiver too next year. i can catch good because i have big hands. im 5,11 and weight 210 pounds. Do u think   i can get into a community college then transfer to a university and play? if my grades are a problem do u think i  can get classes online and fix my grades?

Answer
Mike, hello!

If your sprints continue to improve you will be able to get into a community college or lower division schools.  If you do not develop the speed to be a WR, then you should focus on being the best on the D-Line.

Your statements are in the general area of good goals, so keep it up and you will get your just rewards.

Take care,
