Question
Hey, Im was wondering what i have to do to make it walking on for football-im 5'9 160 and run about a 4.9 40. What should my mesureables be to be good, i want to play half back or free safety what would you say is harder? I dont know which college to walk on to yet i was thinking a d 3 around oregon like western oregon-can you help me

Answer
Lamar, hello!

Contact those schools you have an interest in playing for.  They will give you the dates for tryouts and where you could best help the team.  A 160 pound halfback would have to be extemely durable to go jaw crashing with the big linemen, so DB sounds more likely, if you have great vertical.  Your speed can improve with relentless Sprints.

The Athletic Department will give you the information for football but remember the NCAA has minimum grades to maintain so do not neglect your studies.

I hope you have an incredible time playing football !
