Question
My name is Austin I just graduated high school.. Ive played football my whole life but not with an actual team. I have drive, determination, and i never stop until I get what i want.. the way I see it is if I knew it was possible to walk on with my background I would go outside right now and bust my ass to get into a better state of physical condition. I have been working out now for a while and gained about 15 pounds in the past 2 months.. I am solid muscle and right now im 6'2" and 170 lbs.. I am fast and have a quick set of hands.. I would love to play as wide receiver or safety... What should I do? Because I WILL do it.... I dare to dream.. I know i could make a difference.

Answer
Austin, many players have blossomed later in their high school or college career, so you have the opportunity.

Contact the school you wish to attend and they will advise your grade requirements to play.  The Athletic Department will also give you the dates of tryouts and/or when the Coaches are allowed to speak with you.  If you have raw talent, they may find a place for you.  Be open minded as to which position and keep working towards your goals.

Take care,
