Question
QUESTION: How big of a quarterback do you have to be to have a chance for a d-1 college to look at you?

ANSWER: Tyler,hello!

Most coaches would look at your ability before they would automatically that a man was too small for the position.  Many QB's have thrived who have been "undersized".  Georgia Southern QB Jason Foster was a small guy that led the Southern Conference last year but he outplayed most every other player in the league, at all positions.  Fran Tarkenton and Douge Flutie were smaller men that excelled at all levels.  So, it's all about your skill and the size of your heart, not your height and weight.

QUESTION: i have another question though. i live in a very small county in maryland that no one has heard of, and we have many players with alot of skill. How do we get big time scouts out to look at us?

Answer
Tyler, if you are one of the better players in a Hot Bed of Blue Chips, the scouts are going to be there.  You need to contact all of the colleges of your choice, the local coaches, the nearest YMCA, and the local high school football officials (you can go to your state's high school sports association) and you will start getting the times and locations of where the scouts are.
