Question
I am 6"0 315 and i play DT i wanted to know if i should continue playing DT in college or drop about 70 pounds and play linebacker. I'm asking because I'm not that tall? should i stay where i am.

Answer
James, hello!

I've been waiting 3 days for a router to be mailed after mine was hit by a storm.  Sorry for the delay!

Without knowing your skills, I would urge you to discuss that decision with your Coaches.  Dropping 70 pounds could have an adverse effect on your body, mind and ability.  I'm always mindful of men that put on a lot of weight to bulk up, and those that dropped a lot of weight.  Both theories could hurt you.  I would strongly recommend that you remain as natural as possible, complete your routine workouts and let Nature steer you into the best position!

Play hard and the team will find the best play for you to help them!

Take care,
