College Football/college football
Expert: Thom Brooks - 1/25/2009
Questionhey Thom, im very interested in college football. however i wasnt scouted out. im 5'8 and 180 pounds. i played 4 years of high school football. i played WR/DB and i ran a 5.00 forty. my coaches told me i was the hardest working player on the field and a great route runner.as i already mentioned im interested in playing football at a collegiate level. my passion for football is unexplainable and im a relentlessly hard working football player, and i bust my ass in the weight room.im going to be improving everything from forty time and on field play to weight lifting max in the weight room. do you think i can do it?
AnswerDavid, hello!
I know you can do it. Your height is a disadvantage for WR/DB unless you have great vertical and speed. Your speed (turning corners?) sounds great. Your work ethic and enthusiasm will make up any deficit you have. Keep the mental strength and you will play on Saturdays, and maybe on Sundays!
Take care,
Thom Brooks
