College Football/should i try semi pro or college football
Expert: Thom Brooks - 1/6/2009
QuestionThom I've been playing football from 8th-10th grade and i believe my skills are superior to my competition. But i was not able to play in 11th grade because of my grades and since then i have dropped out of school. But i am now working on receiving my GED. But my question for you is should I even try college ball because i doubt ill get accepted to any decent school of should I just play semi pro and try out for the arena league
AnswerTerrek, hello!
I would strongly urge you to get into any college and get a degree. If you make a temporary flash in the arena league and get hurt, you will be worse off than today. But, if you get a career started outside of football, then you may be fortunate enough to be able to play college ball and still have an incredible career after football.
Terrek, dadgumit! Even if you play for Junior College, Division III, Div. II, or if your'e good enough for Div. I., you need to get the degree and also play college football.
Now, get to work and finish the G.E.D.
The college counselors will help you get the grades in order to play NCAA football. Don't give up the college dream.
Now, drop and give me 100 pushups for mentioning Arena League. Get your butt to college!
Let me know which college you join so I can follow your football career!
Write your goals on paper and keep them in front of you.
You only have your youth one time. Make it work great!
Go USA and go Terrek!!
