College Football/Kick off

Question
If a College team is penalized after the play when they score and the penalty is assessed on the ensuing kick-off (i.e. they have to kick off from further back than usual) if the kicker kicks it out of bounds does the other team still automatically get it on their own 40 yard line?

Answer
Pace, hello!

The Receiving team would have the option of making the Kicking team kick again, after a 5 yard penalty, or taking the ball where it went out, or taking the ball at the 40.
