College Football/Transferring to a division 1 program
Expert: Thom Brooks - 10/13/2009
QuestionHey Thom,
I am a college football player from Valdosta State University. I came into the program in 2008 right after they won the division 2 championship. Coming out of high school I wasn't highly recruited but i did have about 7 D1AA scholarship offers but my ACT scores didn't qualify, but now that im here I have found that the program isn't what it seems and i know that i have the potential to start on a d1 football team. At 6'1 205 with 4.5/4.6 speed who can play in space well and also come into the box like a linebacker from the SS position i know i can be a good fit for someone program but how should i go about doing so?
AnswerRandy, hello
I have attached the NCAA eligibility rules for you to inspect but you will have to sit out for one year if you transfer UP to a higher division.
Wish you the best of success. Go Blazers! Go Georgia! Go Florida State! Go Georgia Southern!
