College Football/what do i have to do to play?

Question
hi, i turn 27 in feb/2010. last time i played ball was in high school, i never realized my potential because of bad grade and an unstable home, namely being homeless. i was an undersized outside linebacker, all i ever had was hustle whether it be baseball, football, or running. i miss the feel of giving it all i've got. i joined the army at 17 and served in iraq and when i got home i went to prison for drugs when i got back. i've grown up the hard way since then and like i said i want to feel like i gave it my best just one more time.
im moving to southern california to riverside county from oklahoma this december to start over.
my question is: is there a community college or a d3 prep school that i could play as a walk on? i have no illusions about going d1, pro, or even starting. i just want to play. i'm 5'10 and fluctuate between 205 and 230 depending on my lifting regimen. im in reasonably good shape and i think i got at least a good year left in me. could you point me in the right direction?

thank you sir,
               c. allen

Answer
Hello, c. allen.

First of all, thanks for serving our country.  Thanks for everyday you wore our uniform.

I have attached some websites for you to contact.  The NCAA has a minimum grade standard to maintain.  If you are an athlete, some school will give you the chance to play.  No one knows until you give it the attempt.

Don't give up.  Just because you've had some rocky paths doesn't mean you can't become a great Leader in the future.  Thousands of kids can use your life as a role model to inspire them to be better.

Finish the Drill.
