Question
Mornin Thom,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have 1 more question. If I was not on a Football Roster for 09, would I still need to have a release signed?
Thanks again Thom. Have a great day
Matt

Answer
Matt, you definitely need a release from the Doctor before playing again, after an injury.  If you were on schaolarship, you would need to have it formally withdrawn in order to get another.  Talk to the new school and the current school.  They will give you the NCAA rules on transfers/redshirts/sitting out after a transfer to an equal or higher division and your medical condition to start playing again.

It will work out but follow the procedure and the colleges should take good care of your worries.

Let me know which school you will play for so I can follow your progress!!
