Expert: Thom Brooks - 10/22/2009
Question I'm a guard. I want to be a fullback or a tailback. I'm 6'2" 229 pounds. I have the strenth, but i need to improve my speed and agility. What should I do to increase my speed and agility to play those positions at the high school level.
Answer Tom, hello!
You need to work on your sprints, your diet, your workout schedule and the Rules of the Game. You should seek counsel from the trainers in your area to help you develop that plan. If your health is perfect and if you are an athlete, you should be able to play all three of those positions in high school.
Take Care,
