College Football/3 year leave and return
Expert: Thom Brooks - 11/28/2009
QuestionWhat are the chances of a D1 football recruit [6'0"-235lbs-4.56 40yd-played FB/OLD/DE/DT- with tons of athleticism-21yrs of age]that went the academic route, returning to the game as a transfer walk on [ncaa cleared, have not played any sports] and getting anywhere in a rebuilding program with a HUGE legacy?
AnswerMalik, hello!
Your chances and skills are needed by some team so what are you waiting for? If you transfer, the one year sitting out period would likely apply but could be waived since you've not played. You can certainly play for a lesser division school without having to sit out the year.
It would be awesome if you joined the Florida State Seminoles and helped ol' Bobby Bowden win it next year when he finishes up.
