I am an 18 year old junior from New Orleans,La I 've been playing football since my 5th grade year,and I've started all three years in high school as a safety/linebacker/runningback.Due to hurricane Katrina and my birthday being in July I will not be able to play my senior year.I still have hopes of playing football on the college level mostly in the Swac conference. I am currently

I was even voted to make the all-district team this year but I couldn't because I had to move to another school before the season was over because of finance issues.My grades are not an issue,Im taking the ACT on Dec.12,and I'm college bound according to my courses.What are my chances at playing at the college level????

I cannot give you an accurate  estimate as to your chances at playing at the college level as I don't have personal knowledge of your ability. However if all that you say is correct - you have good size, speed, strength and have been all-district then I dare say you stand a very good chance. What makes your chances better are your grades and test scores.  There are a lot of programs that understand players having issues Due to hurricane Katrina.  I think you stand a good chance of getting an opportunity to try-out or walk on at the very least
