Question
Hi, my names Anray, i would like to know my chance of making it on either a D2 or D1 college team. i am 5'4-5'5 i weight 166 at the moment with no gym help,i play Rb/Db/Wr/and also returner. My 40 time is in the range of 4-3 to 4-4 and i average 125 yrds a game. The bias thing towards football is your height so this is why i pose this question to you. With in yourself do you believe i should pursue football longer or it's true about being a surtain to play college ball is correct?
AnswerAnray, Merry Christmas!
You're numbers are awesome! Your height is a disadvantage but it is a foolish Coach that would let that get in the way of 125 yards per game. I wouldn't care if you were 4'4" if you can carry the ball. It ain't that heavy!!
Send a note to people like Doug Flutie, short fellow that made it to the Pros and ask him how many millions he made while never been a tall man!! The only thing you need to think about your height from now on, is what a great gift you have in been able to hide, elude and then motor past those big ol' hogs that want to catch you but just are not fast enough!!
You have a great future. Keep your grades strong. Be a Leader. Stay away from the things that ruin careers.
Your future is promising!!
