Question
Hey my name is Steve and i played 1 semester of football at a division 3 school. needless to say I did not like the school so I left and attended a local community college that did not offer football, and i'm going into my 2nd semester of sophomore year . so i am now looking too play ball again at a division 3 school. Do I still have 3 years of eligibility?

Answer
Steven, hello!

I have attached the phone number and website for the NCAA.  They will give you the official opinion of what your records state, but it sounds like you have 3 years left.  Exceptions could be for injury or hardship, etc. but if you didn't play in the 2nd year you should have three years remaining.

Take care,
