Question
Hi, my name is Valentin I am 19 years old and Im about 5'11 290. I also don't really have alot of money but really I really want to play football, I played three years of football in high school, my problem is my high school coaches really didn't help me with college or even tell me anything about it so I really have no clue how to go about this. I believe that  I just need to find an opportunity to show case my skills I believe I will earn a spot on a team even with my lack of height. Any advice would help alot thanks

Answer
Valentin, hello!

I have attached many websites for you to get your knowledge from.  You need to select a school that provides the degree you seek, in case football is not a life career.  If you have great skills, many of the schools will give you a tryout, but the smaller schools have more need for players.  The bigger schools get to choose from the best of the Blue Chips.

Google the universities and colleges.  Call their athletic department for dates of tryouts.  You may be invited to walk on to a team if you are a decent player.
