College Football/positions
Expert: Thom Brooks - 3/16/2010
Questioni've been wondering. for jc college tryouts. since i know i need to stand out to make the team. which position between corner and wide receiver is best position to stand out from? (people underrate corner position because they rarely touch the ball but...)
AnswerJohn, hello!
Each position requires a different art to be successful at it. It's always assumed the WR doesn't have the best hands to catch the ball but the corner has the hands to deflect, or the strength and speed to tackle. So, until the coaches and scouts take a look at your skills, with you telling them you can play either side, then no one knows where you would best help the team.
If you are skilled, they may end up playing you at both positions!!
