Question
Dear Thom Brooks,

How many are the chances that could give a college football coach to a 21 years old guy to try train with his DI college football team even if I never played football? I'm going to a DI FBS college on fall and I would love to try football, just to try, to feel the sensation of this game that I love. My body conditions are very very good and I got a lot of grint and rage. It will be too late on september?
also i'm a baseball player that is why I never played football, but I want to try it this year as a freshman.

Answer
Alexander, hello!  If you are an athlete, you need to try out for the team.  Without experience, you will be at the bottom of their depth chart until you prove that you can learn quickly, and/or help the team.  Without experience, you will be at the great disadvantage opposing those who have played four years.  So, you're going to have to wing it.  This is where your Character and Leadership will be challenged.  If you're not a Leader, you will not make the team.  At your age, you may have an advantage in maturity over some of the team that would be younger.  You need to read my attached reviews and learn the rules of the game in order to gain that advantage!

I coach a men's baseball team.  If you are a stud athlete, you need to move to Savannah and play for my Bombers!  You have to be 23 by December of that year!
