i want to be a linebacker and i am not sure how i can make it on the northwestern football team?
could i possibly start if  i am great?

Kyle, hello!

You have to make contact with their athletic department.  They have scouts in your area that can recommend you to a college.  If you are a quality player, they will take a look at you.  Go to the website, NCAA.com and look up Eligibility Rules.  You can make contact with any players or coaches or football officials (your state's high school Association) and they have many connections.  If you have any tapes or states, send it to them, preferably to a named person, not just to their office.

If you know of any students/athletes or coaches, get them to make telephone calls for you.

Call your local sports directors at the TV, radio and newspaper offices.
