iam 21 and never played football in highschool iam going to community college and for my first year and it seems like i may not play i have my 2nd child on the way.iam working my dream is play football for a d1 but i never played i went to the coach today and he told me he knows lots of guys who played a lot of football in theyre lives but i cant go back to the past if i play next season i be 22 iam 6'0 224 and i want to play saftey do you think its too late for me can i be the next antiono gates of who never played football and made it i want to play football bad but have you heard a d1 recuriting a 22 or 23 year old when lots of highschoolers come out every year write me back.

Follow your dream.  If this is what you want to do then play football. You will be playing at the community college level and your age is not an issue.  Don't worry about the D-1 level.  they have age restrictions but there are some exception - you might not fit within one of the exceptions but there are other divisions too where you can play.
