Question
What is the most points an NCAA football overtime game can end..? I say no more than 8...

Answer
Arthur  The most amount of points a team can score in an OT "series" would be 8 (a TD & 2 Point PAT) However,  the most points it could score in an OT period would be 14.  Thus,  the most points an NCAA football overtime game can end is 14.

Team A scores a TD on their first series and a 2 point conversion (6 points for TD + 2 points for PAT/conversion)  Then on Team B's series there is a change of possession where team A (who is is on defense during Team Bs OT series) scores a TD after the change of possession (6 points)  Thus the maximum points that can be scored by a team during an OT period is 15 points.

Very good question!!!!!
