Question
Who was the last coach to win a National Championship with his own recruited players?

Answer
Good Morning, Sarah!

Mack Brown of Texas won the NCAA Championship by beating USC.  So, Brown and Pete Carroll were the last true Home Grown recruited teams that won the title.

I always favor Bobby Bowden of FSU as reloading their teams year after year, but all the great Coaches that have won the trophy, like Joe Paterno of Penn State come to mind.

Hope this was the answer you were seeking.
