Question
My son just finished his Junior year of football as the starting QB. He goes to a small school so he won't get much scouting attention. When should he start the recruiting process and what is the first step. Thank you.

Answer
Kerie, hello!

He needs to contact his favored schools immediately.  They will advise the dates and schedules that meet the NCAA rules and when they're allowed to talk with him.  He needs to start compiling a record of statistics, any injuries, chosen positions and what his work out schedules involve.  The local Coaches in your community can give a great deal of knowledge and exposure to him.

Have a great day!
