Question
Hi, him going to be a senior in HS and i am playing football but him not the starting RB because of me going on vacations during the offseason but i am very strong and fast and in good physical shape but i was wondering do all division 1 A colleges hold tryouts to give you a chance to show the coaches what you got?

Answer
John, hello!  Yes, the tryouts give the Walk Ons the opportunity, but you need to show them film and statistics, if available.  The Coaches are also looking for dependable top notch Leaders, so you need to demonstrate that you are highly disciplined and you would have an advantage over the average player that does not have that kind of physical and mental stamina.
