QuestionHELLO, i have played football throuout my life, but the only time i played in high school was my freshman year, i am now a senoir. The reason i havent played in a while was my grades were always low. but now thats back on track.
OK here is the important stuff, i know that i have the ability to be colleges wide receiver, u just havent played in a while. i am 6'4 maybe 6'5 i am pretty small maybe 170. i have good hands pretty ok speed, its kinda hard to explain, but i just know that i have the ability to play on the next level. I feel like i just need a chance to prove myself, im craveing to step back on to the field, but now i just dont know where to start
I WAS THINKING about going JUCO , then if possible go some where bigger, another option i thought about was just going to a small school, such as BECKER or WORCESTER, and see how i do there, or maybe even just stat on a local semi pro team to get my skills back together first
please help me jus give me some pointers, i know the first thing that i need to do is hit the weight room
I NEED SOME Advice as far as the next place to try to play football at
maybe some specific small colleges that are not that good so i can go there to get my skills back together
AnswerLevaughnte, Hello!
You need to keep running as many sprints as you can. You can contact your local YMCA and county recreational departments about their teams in order to get you some coaching time, where you can practice with a team to get back into football shape.
You need to contact the JUCO or Division II and Division III colleges of your choice immediately. They will have someone contact you about joining their school. You have to keep your grades up to standards so let your future career direct you to the college where you will get the best education, while you're living the dream of playing football.
Your weight will pick up when you get back into a disciplined schedule of workouts and diets.
Have a great and rewarding college career!!
