Question
me and  moms got  into  it  about  me playing football  or  rugby she  really want me  to play rugby but this past season  in football i made all confrence at QB and she said  that 1% of college football players make  it  to the  pro's is that true ?? and how many ??

Answer
Loren, hello!

Yes, your Mom is correct, but the percentage is misleading when you compare the thousands of men that try out for the NFL.  I do not know the payscale for a professional Rugby player, nor your credentials, but the payscale for an NFL player's weakest players would be $200,000 to $300,000 per year.  That's the bench warmers.

You can suffer serious injuries in either sport, but at least football uses some measures of protection, whereas in Rugby it's normally your bare head, chest and legs that batter the other guys!

I am a high school football official.  If you're dedicated to either sport, you will be successful.  A QB that is All Conference may be able to name his ticket, IF his ATTITUDE stays strong.

Be a Leader!  Have a great future and let me know how you're doing!!
